I have a new blogspace!

Welcome to my new blogspace.. where I am going to write about all of our family happenings. So, here is my new word-home. My new word-home may make you laugh, it may make you cry -- but it will definitely keep you entertained.

So, here goes!

I'm Lynn and I'm a wife and mommy. The wife to Phil and the mommy to Liam. Our Lafferty family was established on November 27th, 2004 and we became a party of 3 on October 15th, 2008. Phil and I met in 1997 and we started dating on November 22nd of that year. Where did we meet you ask? Online... Nope, wasn't planning on finding a future husband online, but I did. It was a server called Inetone. We grew up an hour and a half from each other. You know it's love when you have never seen the person but you find yourself wanting to talk to them every day. He made me smile without ever looking at him. Ok, so this is way mushy and cliche', but its all true.

We have a home in metro-Atlanta. We have lived here for 4 years now. We had our little boy, Liam, with the help of the fertility drug Clomid. He was conceived with the greatest love and was welcomed with open arms by us and his entire family. I'm biased, but he's the most wonderful baby I've ever seen and held. Before we found out that we were pregnant with him, I suffered through a miscarriage in November 2007. It was absolutely heartbreaking and our 'angel baby' will always be remembered and held close to our hearts. Wanting to start a family, through our suffering we found out Liam was in the making on February 13th, 2008. And I spent the better part of 2008 very pregnant! I always joked that cupid brought him to us and was left in the pumpkin patch :)

Being a mom is the hardest, most rewarding job ever! Everything revolves around planning. I plan when I go to the bathroom out in public and I plan when we go out. Life changes in the best ways possible. We couldn't imagine being a family without him!

I'm a teacher. I teach special needs students and I love my job. I sometimes have funny stories about my kids and they keep me on my toes...

Well I think that is about all I can say for now. I hope to keep this going for a while... Keep on checking back and I hope to keep you entertained with stories about us - the Lafferty's...
